Seeking superiors to Carol Crawford, CDC/Twitter liaison/censor

Carol Crawford, responsible for liaising with Twitter regarding censorship of Professor Naomi Wolf in 2021, was with the Digital Health Branch of the Department of Public Affairs. This department is under the Associate Director for Communication.

There is no “Department of Censorship” here. Carol Crawford was/is presumably a member of the Division of Digital Media, presumably of the “Content and Engagement Branch.”

The Associate Director of the CDC’s OADC is Kevin Giffis as of June 2022. This article indicates that the CDC had no director of communications in the four years prior to his hiring.

Presumably, further depositions from Carol Crawford will illuminate who else at the CDC was contributing to the censorship discussions that were then forwarded to Twitter.
