A brief note - which is also a breather while going through the latest batch of mRNA vaccine/ myocarditis research publications (there are a lot, again) - to reflect upon an interesting development this week at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario’s Disciplinary Tribunal.
What made it interesting?
Two items. One, it was broadcast on YouTube. I would imagine that this is the very first time this has happened in the history of the College. Apparently, thousands of people watched. Drs. Trozzi, Luchkiw, and Phillips are eternally grateful for this public interest.
The second item of interest was that my colleagues’ lawyer, Mr. Michael Alexander, argued that the College did not have the right to suspend physicians or investigate them if the physicians had not violated any College regulations.
While this would seem like a reasonable and uncontroversial point of view, it is presently the case that the College has been investigating numerous Ontario physicians due to what they wrote on social media — about which they did not have a formal policy until June 2022.
Thank you to the leadership of the Tribunal for agreeing to hear this appeal, and for enabling the public to get a glimpse of the justice system of the College.
Thank you. I just went on YouTube to try to find it on their channel but it’s not there. Was it only live and not recorded
Thanks for reporting on that and how it's transpiring
