Yes, there was a warning about a 25 thousand dollar fine for recording. In the statute that covers this, it is indicated that if involved parties agree, that it can be recorded. Tamara Ugolini did some contemporaneous reporting on Twitter. The case will at some point appear in the law report CanLii
