I have noticed that a surreal number of Canadians just absorb what the media tells them, and that is the end of the story. True believers in government that cares about them - it's quite scary how low info they really are. The innate common sense of the common man - less concerned with the approval of others in their circle. They are more used to being "unapproved" by the "intelligentsia" anyway due to their "lower" status. More likely to have been forced out into the grocery and trades work, where they believed their own eyes and ears (the lack of family and coworkers succumbing) rather than the alternate universe of the tv pandemic. More face to face communication between themselves on a daily basis rather than hiding from a ghost on Zoom. Just some thoughts.
