If it turns out that the booster is significantly net harmful, then the fact that First Nations communities are getting expedited access is going to end up being another residential schools disaster. Every single post and comment from vax skeptics will be viewed as evidence of an intentional genocide.

I really hope this doesn't happen.

Interesting that Saskatchewan is limiting the bivalent to 70+, with the noted special cases.

While the major media doesn't find it newsworthy, there was, apparently, a recent death in Saskatoon from 'natural causes', which occurred in the 15-minute waiting period post-vaccine.

Could Sask Health be a little ... thoughtful after the incident?

Not sure when Sask decided on this policy. Up until now, I do not recall any evidence of increased discernment on the part of Sask govt with respect to covid vaccines. Certainly there is a change in Saskatchewan, but why?

It only mentions that the bivalent is restricted, which I assume means those <70 can still get the older formulation, if they really want it.

But - if it turns out they are not giving the old formulation any more, then this policy is much more restrictive than Denmark.

Virtue signaling - as an ON provincial employee, why am I being told to wear an orange shirt to work on Friday - oh btw Teresa said the shots are safe and effective - oh oh btw why are the shots still under EUA - so many questions - so many disingenuous answers

Regarding First Nations and Metis, I think the government and media are trapped by their own rhetoric. The injection availability is consistent with their posture of compensatory solicitude and remorse for past abuses. It looks sinister and hypocritical, though, much like the performative and otherwise empty expressions of concern for the elderly who were left to die in LTCs.

Yes, my feeling as well. Seeing as there are at least two of us with this perception, I will go ahead with the First Nations post, and trust that readers are tolerant of the attempt to thread the needle between an appreciation for compensation, together with a concern about the method of compensation

I think we all need to consider why they’re targeting First Nations people. Rumor has it, they’re of the tribe of Dan, which sits in judgement (Dan means Judge) on those committing atrocities upon the people and the earth.
