“Who did covid the best?” Not such an easy question to answer, as covid incorporated many phases and facets. This essay observes excellence in four countries during covid. No, Australia and New Zealand are not among them. Sweden. From the perspective of overall sanity/madness with relation to lockdowns, Sweden was lionized and villified throughout 2020 for not having closed schools and limiting social gatherings. Interestingly, Sweden did not perform terribly differently in terms of overall mortality than did its Northern European neighbours. This is a finding that is troublesome to Sweden’s fans, who would like to say that lockdowns caused a lot of suffering and death. It is equally troublesome to Sweden’s anti-fans, who would like to say that lockdowns saved a lot of lives.
You should look into El Salvador. Because of their great President it was truly a 2 week lockdown and he handed out kits to everyone with C D3 zinc and ivermectin. I think there was something else but I can’t remember. Never mandated anything and let people live and businesses open. Obviously Canada and the US hate him because he’s not bowing down to them.
I've been trying to sort out exactly why the dissident doctors paid a price. It is quite striking how many of the doctors in Ontario were taken to task for denying access of the College of Physicians and Surgeons to their patient charts. This is an understandable tension - on one hand, College investigators feel they cannot properly investigate without carte blanche to look through patient charts - on the other hand, physicians feel that patient privacy is an ethical issue.
Please keep posting about this. I want to find a better country for my children and grandchildren to geow up in.

The dissident doctors have earned respect. They've kept the letter and spirit of their oath, and paid a price for doing so.
